Journey

Journey

One man’s Journey-
Another man’s advice
To strike empty words into the vulnerable heart of the less assured
Would be as much a crime as it would be a dagger into the heart of the unassuming
Personal views enveloped in past pains- sufferings and trauma
Cloaked in an attempt of caring and concern
In order to justify one’s very own decisions
Any deviants from personal belief needn’t worry
In an attempt to rescue order from chaos

A fine line between selfishness and selflessness
The lessness being more vigilant to the importance of self
The ish-ness highlighting the indecision that cries out for justification
Take both away and you are left with “selfness”
The meeting point of the heart- mind- and body
The juncture of inner peace and outer grace
That yields no judgments only momentary truths
Flashes of foresight that must be depended upon- trusted
Through the empty words of others
On the battle fields of life
To the ends of time

We each have our lives to live, our roads to travel, our mistakes to make, our devils to battle, our lesson to learn.. Who’s to say right or wrong holds any ground in the fluttering of life? And who could know any better than one’s own heart when life and death are at stake? The wise say “happiness is a journey, not a destination”, the destination meaning the goal- the actualization- the realization of something/ someone/ somehow… the truth being, happiness is a paradox which lies somewhere between both the journey and the destination…
